So the good: This part fits and works properly.The Bad: I installed this in May of 2024, it stopped working in Sept of 2024.I was stranded as I had no battery charge.decide if 4 months is long enough for you.I will be replacing with a Rick's Motorsports Mosfet rectifier. if what everybody says is true about how good these are $150 is well worth the time and headache saved over this short lifespan product.I don't want to get stuck again.

Magna is running great now thanks to this little guy, I was really impressed it was a direct replacement for this cheap, Awesome!All my gripes come from HONDA's Design of their V-4 Cruiser, not this product, so while I cant speak for the longevity of the item, ill be back to update!

This is basically the exact OEM replacement part. Both harnesses match up and it mounts identical to the original mounting holes with original hardware. Just installed it and maintaining a constant 14.3Volts at idle and while giving it throttle. Doing its job! I’m riding a 1998 Honda Magna VF750 (3rd Gen.)

It works fine but the wires at the connector eventually burn up so keep another one on you when riding. And everything you need to switch it out.

the heatsink mount holes look higher (taller) in the photos compared to the original heatsink. i received the actual item and it actually has the normal (not high/tall) mount holes which are perfect fit using the original nuts/bolts on 2002 Honda Magna, almost identical to the stock heatsink mount. it works great! a perfect 14.4V output.

I bought one and it plugs right in and uses the original plugs and everything. In the first year it fried my lithium iron battery, which luckly was under warranty. DB electrical did replace the unit, and the other started having issues within the next year. I ran the tests with my meter to se if the stator was the cause, the reading came up clear. Bought a more expense aftermarket rectifier with mofset technology, haven't had any issues with that one yet. So be aware, this rectifier will most likely only last a year.
