I gave the item 3 stars because it looks well put together and I imagine for the right vehicle it probably works well.However this certainly did not fit into a 2008 V-Strom 650. The mounting holes on the actual plate itself were misaligned and both of the plugs for the wiring harness were completely incompatible.Returned / Refunded
