Seems like the jack screw support is made to last 6 months so better buy several jacks.The pro is that the price is cheap.

The connector in my wife's laptop had both snapped of the plastic ring that secures it to the motherboard and the wire leads to the back of the socket had broken, preventing it from charging the battery. Popped the back, swapped this in, and everything is up and running again!
