These are good for a short time, but then begin to show signs of rust and decay. By the second year, the Dee Zee labeled steps were coming away from the bar itself, but still usable. This year, year 6, I heard the unmistakable crunch of metal giving way. Oddly enough, it was on my passenger side that barely gets stepped on. The driver side is still usable for now, but showing extreme signs of wear.The price has gone up, as you would expect over 6 years, and I was going to purchase again, but not with the current price unless the quality has improved.

I like that these attach to body mounts making them very strong. An excellent value. Dee Zee for the win.

These bars are excellent, They look good on my truck and they were easy to install. Total installation time was about 40 minutes definitely will be looking into new DEE ZEE products.

Purchased Dee Zee step bars in August 2015 for my Buick Enclave. The car is driven by a mid 50's age woman and steps have not been abused. About 2.5 years later, the step pads on the unit began breaking, cracking, and coming apart see picture. They become a hazard when they become brittle because stepping on them and having them break can cause a slip that can cause serious physical damage. E-mail contact with manufacturer produced no response. I certainly expected these to last more than 2 1/2 years. I suggest you do not purchase unless you only expect 2.5 years of use.

Would have been five stars if there had been a note telling me the look up vehicle specific instructions on their website. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to use the included hardware as the included instructions suggested. Turns out to install these on my 2014 Silverado I just used the stock bolts/washers. There were great model specific instructions, but I did not know to look for them. I am not great with tools and was able to install these in an hour by myself. They look great and feel sturdy .
