At 65 years old, with a bad back, shoulder & knees, my husband laughed at this gift!I bought it to attach to a harness. His first trip out using it hunting Whitetail & he loves it! He said it was so much easier, & distrubuted the weight so much better. His hands were free, making walking easier so that he only made one trip back to his vehicle. He says it is very strong & we'll made.

I like how they handle is made, I have had other ones that it was just a tube over the strap for a handle. The tube hurt my hand after a long drag, so I looked for a different one. I saw this and was able to put it to use at the end of the season. Handle made a 100% difference, was a lot easier to drag out my game.

I finally got a chance to actually use this deer drag harness. It worked well for a decent sized whitetail. (I had a picture attached but my review was erased so I'm resubmitting this review without a picture.)I've only used it once but seems like it'll hold up for awhile if it's taken care of (not left in the elements or conditions that could degrade the material).Don't kid yourself, deadweight is heavy no matter what but it did help make dragging it a little easier on the body.The handle is really nice, good size. It didn't hurt my hand at all. No cramping or fatigue.I'm planning to attach it to my sled for hauling a deer out in deep snow or rougher terrain. Hopefully, there will be plenty more opportunities to use this before the end of the season.The only critique I have is that the material has too much give. Almost like it has some stretch to it. It would be better if it didn't. (Why I did 4 stars instead of 5.)Overall, for the price, I think it's a solid piece of gear to keep on you. Especially if your going to be hauling one by yourself. The drag is lightweight, doesn't take up a ton of room in your bag. This would make a great stocking stuffer for the hunter in your life.

Very nice quality! Well built and heavy duty. Strap seems nice and strong. I don't know if you would drag an elk with it, but plenty good for deer. I would buy it again.

I wish I had this for the past 20 years of hunting. My only complaint is it is a little short. I wish it was another foot or two long. I used it to carry an approximate 200 pound deer in Missouri out of the hard woods into a field (we transferred it to a side by side after that).It did a great job though. The handle is perfect.I also used it to play tug of war with my 4 year old, just goes to show its versatility....
