This is a no-frills aluminum V-bar. It was easy to fit to my daughter's Galaxy riser with the main bolt, her main stabilizer threaded on cleanly, and the threading for the side bars is also good. I'm glad I found this one and didn't have to spend twice as much on a name brand V-bar which would perform no differently.

My barebow riser already has two "hammer" weights, but it's still missing a bit more for balance. I also went from finger sling to wrist sling and had a plain screw to secure my sling. Enter this V Bar -- although I'm not mounting stabilizers to my bow, the weight of the V bar and bolt was just the right amount for my barebow. The material itself is well made and from afar, looks like the more expensive V Bar options available. The thread for the center bolt fit perfectly on my Gillo riser. I can't comment on the stabilizer screw threads but this looks machined perfectly and have no doubt it would function the way it was meant to be used.

I put this on my bow and man it is versatile! I love it gives you many options of where to put your stabilizer and it is high quality made! Plan on getting another for my buddy.

Works great for attaching my stabilizers to my bow. I had no issues getting them connected and the sizes were standard size. I'm happy with it. I'm still deciding if I like the 40 degree over the 45 degree, but I do like both of them. Having all of those stabilizers on it does make it heavier (the long one at the end, the 2 short ones at the 2 sides, and the bar between the bow and the v bar), but my arm doesn't sway as much when I have the stabilizers on, so that's a huge plus. It's easy to put together. I feel more stable with the v bar vs just the 1 stabilizer, but I can't shoot for as long with the weight of the bow overall. That's a good tradeoff though. Better, tighter shots over length of shooting. I really do notice the difference when going from no stabilizer to 1 long one, and another difference when I go from 1 long stabilizer to 2 short at the sides, 1 long at the end (and the mini one between the bow and the V Bar). I'll have to work with the 40 degree one more to see if I like it over the 45 degree one though.

I am not immune to putting a little side tilt on my bow, which adversely affects my point of impact. I have tried using a bubble level as part of the sight, but it is one more thing to look at as part of my aiming routine. Side stabilizers with an open palm grip is a much easier setup.I purchased the 40 degree offset version. Mine did not come with any copper washers (none are shown in any illustrations, either). No clue as to stainless steel wire, so I am thinking it is a translational error for stainless steel bolt. The bolt thread matched the thread on my domestic compound bow. I like that I am able to reverse the adapter so I can mount the stablizers either toward the target or toward me with equal ease. I am finding that the effect is the same either way.Everything is quality made and finished. What not to like?

This recurve bow V Bar (Vbar) stabilizer is a good basic V Bar that is very reasonably priced and therefore I think good for a casual or beginner target archer who wants to improve their shot accuracy and tighten their arrow groupings. In the attached pics, I show this V bar after I screwed it into the mounting on my Hoyt recurve bow. This V Bar is heavy so made of solid metal. It consists of two pieces the black cross piece that has two side threaded holes each set at a 45 degree angle ( a 40 degree angle is also another choice). These side holes are from additional side bars, which I will need to purchase. The threading, machining, and finish on both pieces is excellent. This V bar assembly screwed smoothly into my bow mounting with out any issues. I was able to unthread it as well. I presently don’t have a short extender bar that would go from my bow body (the riser) to the V Bar. Because the machining of the threads is so good, I don’t forsee any issues when I get and use an extender for use with this V Bar.In my current set up I did screw my Easton stabilizer bar into the front threaded opening of the V Bar. This Easton stabilizer bar screwed in very smoothly without any issues. For a casual archer, this basic V bar for under $20 is a good deal. I wouldn’t want to spend $60 to more than $100 on a V bar, until I’ve used one for some time, and really understand the optimal angle, level or downward slant of side bars, length of side stabilizers, and then length of any extender bar, that would best suit me and my current bow.

For an entry level bow, this is a great piece. The threading and main v-bar are well machined. Now I’ve gotta find the right counterweight configuration.
