says it has 24 drive trays but really they are blanks that can't accept drives. not 10Gb RJ45, it uses SFP+ and incorrect memory configuration provided I got 2x32 not 4x16

I received the r730xd about a week ago and finally got around to getting it up and running. First thing I noticed was that the interior of the case was very clean. I know this is a used unit, but it is in very good shape. No real issues but a couple notes.1st. there are no drive caddy’s included so you’ll need to get them separately.2nd. Somewhere along the line I was under the impression that it would have 4x16gb dimms but it has 2x32gb dimms. I have 12x16gb dimms on hand that aren’t compatible with the 32gb dimms, I’m guessing the included dimms are lrdimms but can’t say for sure. I now have a couple 32gb dimms in a drawer. ;) keep that in mind.Those are the only real issues I’ve experienced. Everything else is great including the price.Lastly, it was packed very well for shipping to Alaska :D

Server did not work; No output to set up the server, I tried everything from testing all VGA ports I found to different monitors, to even moving my TV from the living room to test it.
