I found one that fits my mouth, many are too large.

I had to order these because the one i had before that came with my Byte kit, was thrown away, so i needed a new one to help me with pictures of my teeth. I have a small bite (but a big mouth..lol OOPSY!) - and these worked great for what i needed so i could show my back molars for the Orthodontist.

They were great. I do have a small mouth. They broke after using about 10 times.

I got these retractors for use with a tooth whitening kit, and they've made it a LOT easier to avoid a mess. The retractor fits into the mouth with the tab outward and the sides of the mouth are held back with the "scoops" along the side.In terms of effectiveness, they tick every box. They're easy to use, they hold the cheeks and lips out of the way well, and after 30 minutes of wearing one, it wasn't driving me mad with discomfort.I was a little baffled that these are listed as being for use in kids - I don't have a huge mouth, and I felt like I was at the maximum stretch. it seems like they'd be big on kids. I guess it depends on the kid?Overall, these are well worth the reasonable price!

so, I got these out of sheer laziness. I get tired of holding my jaw open while I am using my plaque scaling device. I can be standing there cleaning the plaque off my teeth for a while sometimes so it's not easy on the jaw. well, these things are very hard. they don't have much bend to them and are quite stiff. I am pretty sure they are different sizes but it's kind of hard to tell if I'm being honest. the one I used all seemed too large for my mouth and felt like I was stretching my lips well past the point of elasticity. wasn't sure if they would ever shrink back to their original form! definitely kept my mouth opened, but not so sure it is better or worse than just dealing with the jaw discomfort. oh, and the saliva build up! if you don't have a vacuum tool like dentists do, it becomes problematic when you cannot spit because you have no lips. you just kind of have to point your face over the sink and wait as it slowly makes its way out. really awkward, and definitely not a thought I had really considered prior.
