The bulbs don’t fit in all Department 56 buildings. The hole isn’t big enough for the round bulb to go in.The buildings they do fit in look great.

As a long-time fan of Dept 56 products, I have watched with disappointment as the quality of their offerings has declined over the years. The recent release of their LED accessory light set was an opportunity for the company to redeem itself and embrace modern technology. Unfortunately, this product falls short in several critical areas.First and foremost, the design of the LED lights is baffling. While the brightness of the lights is commendable, they are simply too large to fit into the holes of their own products. It’s frustrating to see a company that has built its reputation on attention to detail overlook such a fundamental aspect of product design. Instead of enhancing the experience of displaying their charming village scenes, these lights create a jarring mismatch that detracts from the overall aesthetic.Moreover, the lack of compatibility with existing Dept 56 pieces raises serious questions about the company’s commitment to its customer base. It feels as though they rushed this product to market without considering how it would integrate with their established line. This oversight not only reflects poorly on their design team but also leaves loyal customers feeling let down.In conclusion, the Dept 56 LED accessory light set is a missed opportunity for a brand that once stood for quality and craftsmanship. Instead of providing a modern solution that enhances their products, they have delivered a frustrating experience that warrants an F grade. I hope to see Dept 56 take a step back and reevaluate their approach to product development in the future. Until then, I cannot recommend this product or many of their recent releases.

Although this light string was a little expensive, it fits well inside the Christmas homes, has plastic bulbs that won’t crack and led lights that don’t get hot. Good solution for keeping the houses lit and cool.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have the Original Snow Village and have some displayed on a narrow shelf that is against a wall. The original plugs where too bulky and the pieces came out too far to the edge. These lights are low profile and I could light all the houses with this one accessory. I will be buying more for my bigger display.

Great replacement lights for my Snow Village collection. LED lights stay cool but provide a nice warm look for the village.

this lights are perfect and make lighting several buildings at once a breeze ... my only complaint is that removed the clasp from the buildings for storage is somewhat difficult

Despite the fact that they don't fit many of the older houses, they do fit enough to make things a lot easier and more efficient. Don't understand the complaint that they are "too bright". I would buy more sets but the price seems to have gone up since I purchased them.Just bought a 2nd set because the price went down. Very pleased.

Like the other reviews have stated..it doesnt matter when the house came out the light holes are not consistent. All of my houses are from the Dickens collection..some fit some do not. Also if the light hole is under the house it may not fit due to the wings on the light.Its still better than the traditional bulbs and the LED is much brighter.
