I like the house, it is really cute and fits perfectly with my village. Department 56 is the only way to go. Top quality I have been collecting for years.

I am a Christmas Story village collector and I have to admit my obsession is a bit out of control...however I hadn't been able to find the Bumpus house so when I happened upon this I grabbed it. This is really great quality. The painting is clear, the lighting bright and it is the perfect size to add to your other village houses. I recommend it highly.

So glad that they finally re-released the Bumpus house! I have been slowing building my Christmas Story village over a few years and this was one of the pieces I have been waiting to get at a reasonable price. The lights that hang on the house are a nice touch that matches the others in the series (they do not light up... in case youre wondering). I love that it also has one of the dogs at the front of the house. I was able to get the extra bumpus hounds accessory figure and they look perfect together! Definitely a welcome edition sitting next to Ralphies house.
