item is cute but measures only 2" not the advertises 3.5" so I was disappointed considering the cost.

As a Brit it's got more end more expensive to get my hands on Dept 56 Peanuts village as the big US department store have gradually stopped exporting it to the UK. With shipping, import taxes and VAT you double the US sticker price to get something here. Amazon is without a doubt the fastest and cheapest way to import the Dept 56 Peanuts village.The quality has definitely gone down over the years, what was porcelain is now resin, the scale seems to have got smaller and the hallmark glitter on the snow around the characters feet has gone.But as a village collector since inception keeping on top of the collection is a must, the new releases are my Christmas present each year.This is a cute character set to go with the hairdressers that I found on Amazon UK last year. I had resigned myself to not finding the matching character set when it popped up this year!I've docked 1 star because the base is not the white sparkling snow glitter finish of earlier years and I feel the scale has been reduced too much in this one.I've added a photo of the pair in situ in the village.

Really adorable, unfortunately even with great packaging once I opened the box a tiny piece was broken 😕. I ended up just sending it back for a refund tho. They were very quick to make my experience right and refunded the money quick. I would recommend to anyone collecting the snoopy and friend's tiny ornaments .

When the figurine arrived the mirror was broken off. I've tried to super glue it back on, but was unsuccessful. But it is very cute.
