I am so very pleased with Grandma’s house! The quality is excellent and the detail superb! Even my husband who was initially not so interested in my Christmas village plan loves this house! The only thing I need now is grandchildren! 😂😂😂

It’s a nice addition to my village. One thing is the small Christmas tree inside was bent. Nothing that a pair of tweezers couldn’t fix. Love it!

The clear attention to detailing done in designing this item is wonderful . Grandmas House is like a trip down Memory Lane for many like myself it is a beautiful rendition of workmanship capturing every little detail of the house design down to the last front step. This House is in excellent condition packaged in plastic and encased in protective foam padding and cased in a beautiful slipcase cover. I think it's craftmanship at its very best. Department 56 does outstanding work.

This was the first snow village I purchased and I must say the detail is marvelous. I was like a kid in a candy store. In the living room of grandmas house you can see on top of her fireplace that she also has a snow village . It is a very nostalgic feeling when I look at this particular house. It carries a lot of sentimental meaning for me.My late husband, who was taken way before his time, bless his soul, used to take me to his aunts every xmas eve. I was 19 he was 25z she collected snow villages for 30 years and her house was just a joy to be around . I'm nearly 34 now and I just started collecting so that I can pass on those joyous moments and feelings to our kids and carry on the tradition that their loving father introduced me to when we first started dating.When I showed his aunt she was beyond. Raide herself cause she thought it was one of the best peices that she has never owned! Of course I purchased another for her, to give to her for her birthday this April.
