Cute designs, would recommend simpler designs if you're starting out with counted cross stitching. The plastic canvas is challenging to work with vs the Aida cloth. I've bought many of these types of kits that always have the DMC numbers listed and there wasn't any of these shown.

I am working on these colorful cross stitch ornaments now. The plastic backing is sturdy and the thread is decent quality. When stitching is complete, I will use an adhesive felt backing and a thin piece of ribbon to finish these really sweet, colorful ornaments.

I used the pattern to make a set of coasters using the 14count plastic. I also used the pattern to make a tissue box cover using 10 count plastic. Both came out very well. I gave them as a Christmas gift for a friend.

These are some of the cutest ornaments I have made. But as with most Design Works kits I have completed there is not enough black thread. I am an experienced cross stitcher so am confident it is not my issue. I don’t understand how Design Works can be so careless. Twice I have complained to them and they sent me more thread so I have a little supply now. Hopefully others will complain to them so that they get their act together as their designs are darling.
