I was hesitant about purchasing this because of a few minimal negative reviews! Well, glad I pulled the trigger and not listen to a few who maybe shouldn't have installed it themselves in the first place! I have been wrenching on Harleys for 30+ years and have to say this backrest exceeded my expectations! So simple to install! By the way, just replace one bolt and one mount at a time! Makes the install that much easier! Took me all of 20 minutes to install on a 2014 Sportster 1200C. Can't tell the difference between this Made in China backrest and the one at Harley Davidson's Stealer Made in China backrest, except for about $300 more dollars in my pocket

Well made, no tubing just solid steel, chrome looks good not like some of the cheap chrome out there... Highly recommend

My husband’s motorcycle didn’t come with a backrest. He drives pretty crazy-quick starts,quick braking, I kind of know every gear he changes too because it jerks me forward and back. So not the most stable ride. Holding onto him wasn’t an option as our helmets would crash together which annoys him. This backrest was a great investment in my survival and comfort. Now I can hang onto it and no more crashing helmets or annoyed husband. When he takes off I don’t feel like I’m coming off the back anymore either. It’s a low profile so it doesn’t hinder him clambering onto the bike at all. It’s been worth it to me and I’ve been impressed with the quality too. Husband said it went on the bike very easily (HD 2015 Sportster 1200) and he was impressed for sure.If your wife or girlfriend is reluctant to ride with you then getting this backrest shows you are thinking of her comfort too. (I had to buy my own but after 40 years of marriage I guess that’s to be expected?) Orice is very reasonable too. HD shop wanted over $500 for the backrest and mounting hardware alone!

It is a good product for its price, but it is a little difficult to assemble. It is more difficult to install than an original principle. Am I satisfied? Yes. good product. I recommend

Assembly/ welding problem. If you look closely at the screws compared right side to left they are off. Either someone welded it upside down or drilled the holes off. Contacted seller to see if I could just get a new bracket and haven’t heard anything back. The actual back rest part is not level due to this error and doesn’t look nice. It is also is hard to connect and disconnect from my motorcycle. Not so quick disconnect…….

Very sturdy and easy to install on my 2014 Harley Sportster 48. The screws seem short at first but they are not, took me an extra min or two cause you can't really see when you try to align everything under the fender but it was easy for sure. The detachment is a click click on each side and boom! You got no bar then click click and boom you got a bar again :) Glossy black matches my bike's frame and blends in nicely

I installed this on my 2022 HD Sportster 48. Installation was a snap, and if you have basic skills you can do this easily. It looks great and is as sturdy as it could possibly be. I even added a rack from another manufacturer and it fit perfectly. A great product and I highly recommend it. This product saved me hundreds of dollars. Awesome!
