Not 8:1 it's 7:1 can't get the 8:1 even though it's pictured as 8:1 on pic Amazon has posted false advertising all the way!!!

Really fast shipping and paired with my rod. So far, the reel has a nice grip and feels amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first but overall great decision.

I want to start out by saying ignore the bogus review about the Alijos being better than the Daiwa. 🤣I have 4 of them but they are not in the same league as the Daiwa Lexa TW.Bought this reel for SoCal Yellowtail fishing and when I finally got to use it 20lb yellows I was impressed to say the least. First of all, I was surprised how compact the reel was for a 400 sized reel. For size reference, It's literally slightly larger than my Alijos 300 butthe line capacity was same as my Alijos 400. The reel is exceptionally smooth and combined with the T shaped line guide I can cast a surface iron 100 yards with ease. But what I was most impressed with was the cranking power this reel has. For such a small compact reel it has a ton of torque which is huge plus when it comes to preventing those big yellows from taking me into the rocks. I highly recommend this reel. It is a beast!
