Did a 2012 VW Passat TDI timing belt/water pump using these tools. There are two crank-shaft tool holders and they are not marked well. Only one fit the crank-shaft belt gear, but the timing alignment marks did not match anything in the manual.Got the job done, but didn't feel very confident initially while locking the timing in place. (note: 5 plus years of professional auto technician experience)

Wish it came with 2 lock pins but i bought another kit at the same time in case this one didnt work. So i used the lock pin from that kit along with this one. Otherwise kit worked just fine

It comes with 2(two) Crankshaft Locks. I wish they marked which one is for which engine (1.9L or 2.0L). Once you figured out the correct one to use, it engages perfectly to the sprocket. The lock pin fits/slides perfectly. Great value and a MUST have on TDi timing belt replacement job ! BEWARE, THE ARROW ON THE CRANKSHAFT LOCK IS NOT CORRECT, ITS 2 (TWO) TEETH TOO FAR !
