Very cute! I loved the colors in this cross stitch because they are different from the normal bright red and green. I don’t normally purchase kits but I liked the design and colors so much I thought I’d give this one a try. There was plenty of floss to complete the project and it stitched up prettier than the photos. I framed it and put it out at Christmas. I got a ton of complements on it.

Maybe I'm used to Maydear. The threads don't look like DMC threads. They look and feel very thin and breaks easy. They also curl up when you cut the yarn to use at shorter lengths. That never happened to me before when I used DMC from Maydear kits. It's 18 ct meaning the stitches will be small requiring no more than 2 threads. It does not give it a good look up close because of how little thread is used, and they are already very thin as is. The colors are a bit dull too. Lastly, this is not a stamped kit. This is a counted cross stitching kit.

Good little set with all the thread an large direction chart. No embroidery ring, but it clearly states that fact.
