The best part of this is the brackets that hold the light. This bar light is disappointingly dim. At least you can use the brackets on a better light.

I know I bought NEW but this looked like a returned and used item. It had scratches on one side of the lightbar housing that could have been caused by rolling over. Screw threads looked like they’ve been threaded in before too. I should get a discount off of this product at a used item price

This is for the 52mm long bar. I used it above a front bumper as it can sit between the frame rails. Made a couple of bent tabs and used the pivot brackets included with the light. Works good.I didn't realize this came with a strobe controller when I purchased it. It wigged me out the first time I attempted to switch lights Off from my controller because this bar started strobing.I'm sure others have talked all about the strobe and control features. I removed the control board though. Just running it off straight 8.2 volts.It does get hot. Young ones would probably feel pain if they grabbed the light...if the light is used on high voltage...but it's not hot enough to cause injury at all. Just a scare.I had first set up this bar into my light circuit, using a BEC, to be controlled with all lighting in the rear and under carriage. All setup to run on 5.1v. But this 52mm bar is too dim at that voltage. So I changed things up to run the light bar directly off the voltage from my speed control at 8.2v. Super bright and controlled by the Elechawk AUX remote switch.

Well built light bar, pretty bright, multiple modes, good price. Mounted this on the front bumper of my scx6 and it fits perfectly with out being to big or small. Only thing i did before mounting was i disassembled the light and conformal coated the circuit board the lights are on so i dont have to worry about moisture or water crossings ruining my fun. No dead lights and still working perfect a couple months later. Would definitely buy more if the need arises
