If you are considering these over the stock configuration, you may have experienced a problem with rotation. These sure are expensive and appear rotation proof, but the whole assembly is only as secure as that one little tab's ability to remain in the slot. I did seals and bought these because they looked promising, and the package promised them to be fail safe. One of my brand new seals began to leak, and in that short amount of time (maybe a week) the passenger side had begun rotating, and had to be removed with an air hammer. That side was replaced with an old stock set I had (still fine). I just got done air hammering the remaining one out as it rotated, fully assembled , 180 degrees and took out my inner wheel bearing, oil seal, brake pad and trashed my spindle. I am lucky my wheel didn't fall off and this piece of junk didn't cost me my life as there was easily an inch of thrust and the only thing holding it on was my caliper and what was left of the threads on my spindle.Vehicle is 1983 k20 /C6P , Corp 10, have owned 19 years. Will be switching back to stock. They last longer and my safety is on the line.

I use these on my 96 f150 4x4 never had a problem with the wheels getting loose again as they did sometimes with the factory setup for locking your wheel bearings in place.

I used these on my J20 Dana 44. They worked well with my Warn locking hubs. I found these to be easier to use than the factory spindle nut setup.

Make sure it's exactly what you need. Not worth the cost for 1 side only

I have been running these on the front of my CJ for years and they work great, recently did some work to my full floating D44 rear and so I added a pair to the rear as well... holds tight, easy to work on especially on the trail due to the large teeth and gears unlike the stock versions.

Despite all the hype I ended up disappointed in the Stage 8 X-Locks. Once installed I could not get them to hold adjustment. They would be set up properly, but a few miles later I would discover they had loosened. The final straw was they will not work with Yukon Hardcore Hubs, which have an inner seating washer that must seat on the outer bearing race. The X-Lock's large keyed component prevents this.

The assembly was nice quality but, it didn't fit on a Dana 35 from a Ford Explorer with manual locking hubs.
