Bolted right up, does it's job. I can steer my GT245 again and that's all that matters. If quality/longevity becomes an issue I will update

Excellent value for the price…meaning that it’s slightly lower quality than the replacement part from Deere but costs less than half as much.Perfect fit on my LX 280. Installation was easy and took 10 minutes (including the removal of the old part) using a 17mm box-end wrench on the bottom nut and a thin 13mm open-end wrench to hold the upper nut that’s attached to the ball joint assembly.

The tie rod fit. Mine had broken at one end. You need a 17mm and 13mm wrench. The old one came off with no cursing but that may have been luck. Overall it took about twenty minutes. I considered the adjustable version for those machines with wear but at 300 hours mine goes straight.
