Read the directions carefully for the proper cable hole. Smear gresse on the moving parts before or after installation.

Overall, this worked fine for my application. It is smooth and the instructions were okay, but not specific for my volvo penta throttle. Shifting is fine, but it is a long travel/rotation to engage gears and throttle. Perhaps I'll just get used to it. Note: the handle is not designed to be removed, so the installer has to cut a 4.25" hole. This worked for me, but it was a very tight fit and I scratched up the handle when negotiating the angles.
