I have three of these in a track light. They fail quicker than an incandescent bulb. I’ve had to replace 4 of them within 15 months. Yes that includes a replacement that failed as well. They aren’t affordable enough to be replacing that often.

The bulbs came packaged well and were in great condition. The light emitted is a soft neutral light. Perfect for a grow light, but is also nice as regular light because they are not purple like many other grow lights.

I have a lot of tropical plants that have to come in for the winter, I also had a new deck built this spring. The roof over the deck blocks most of the sunlight from the primary window/room where I keep the plants. I purchased a new light fixture for the room and am using the grow light bulbs to supplement the light for the plants. So far they seem to work well and the bulbs don't get hot like traditional grow bulbs so I can leave them on longer. It's only been a week so hard to say how they'll work for the long haul. The bulbs were sent in generic packaging, not the brand packaging shown.

I got these to keep some light on a rosemary plant that I brought into the garage for the winter. I bought some adapters so that I could plug this into a regular light fixture and set it up with a timer. (I did not purchase the bulbs with timers in them.) The light is quite a distance from the plant just because of the logistics of my set-up, but I have had this on the rosemary plant for a few weeks, and it seems to be thriving in its semi-dormant state. It's not sending out any leggy shoots, so I believe the light is adequate even with more distance to the plant than I would have thought is ideal. These little lights are great, and I recommend them!

Got the bulbs for plants I want to start indoors because I live in a dark apartment. Turns out the bulbs don't fit a regular light socket and now I need to get a lamp that will work with this bulb. That's OK. My plants deserve the best start in life and I deserve to learn new things. BTW, I could clearly see the pegs on the bulbs, but for some reason I thought they would push into the bulb when twisted. I know, right? Anyway, as technology improves, so must we.
