STEP 1
Remove the Handle and Panel
And the Screws.
The Latch panel will showed
STEP 2
Remove the around plastic panels then remove the stock upper and lower latch
STEP 3
Install the Unikpas new latch assembly

As anyone who had one of these trucks knows, the die handles are weak. This adds metal where it can twist and/or tear! Add stiffness and makes the door functional like brand new

Was having issues with my door not opening correctly. I had already bent the cable holders to pull more to open and had busted 2 door handles as well. Finally decided to change, should of done long time ago. Pretty simple to switch out and came with reinforcement plate with rivets. all you have to do is use your bits and drill to prep. Door mechanisms feels like NEW.

No problems with installation, just took some minor adjustment and has been working flawlessly for a few weeks now. Went months without being able to open the back doors and the ease of them working now is absolutely wonderful and angry at myself for putting off ordering them and putting them in.

Installed easily, took longer to take the door panels off then to install the cable assembly. One thing to note, I replaced both doors cable assemblies, one need no adjustment, the other needed a small adjustment to the latch adjustment screw that is not shown in the instructions. It is easy but to do but be aware.
