Dozens of automatic carwashes and months of freezing weather. No issues to reportStill working in my 2014 Kia OptimaIt was put together better than the original, and some googling for a few how-to videos saw the swap completed without any trouble.Easily worth it so far

I bought this for my 2015 Optima SXL Turbo and it works like a charm. In addition it's easy to install. The camera also seems clearer than the factory one; giving me a sharper image. Just get this and DIY it because a shop said it'd cost $150-200 to replace it saving me quite a chunk of cash. If your camera stops working look no further than this one right here.

Using this as a replacement for the failed OEM camera that got moisture inside. So far good. Obviously, this camera is sealed compared to the OEM one that wasn't. One look at them side by side n you can see the difference. I'd swear this is a HD quality camera. Super clear image and all in focus. Very impressed.

Very decent possibly better image than original, I’be had two of the original fail on my KIA Optima SXL 2015The originals have a defect where water oxidized the rim of the camera internally which in turn gets inside the module and corrodes it, I’m hoping this one last! Will keep it the review updated as time goes byReview up to date as of 3/16/21UPDATE 10/09/2022Camera is still working as new!, This is an amazing replacement feels better than the original, no water inside the unit!UPDATE 01/31/2023I truly think this is superior compared to the original lol, it’s still strong and clear just as it’s always been this one has a more protective construction build to keep water out of penetrating inside the cameraUPDATE 03/08/2024STILL GOING STRONG Wow im super impressed I knew this one was good but im shocked it will almost outlast the life of the original! super happy everything seems to be working just a usual

My backup camera flickered and blanked out so I purchased this one. This was about $70 less expensive than the OEM part. I have a 2014 Kia Optima SXL Turbo. All that's needed is a philips screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool. Here's how to replace your backup camera:1. Pop the trunk and use the philips and trim tool to pop out the ~10 clips holding the upper trunk liner. Just unscrew the clips slightly and then pop out the top part of the clip that screws into the bottom part and they come right out without breaking.2. Find the small groove at the middle bottom of the interior trunk handle where the liner is still attached. Use your trim tool in the groove and pop the handle open.3. Remove the 2 screws holding down the handle and liner. The liner should come completely off now.4. Find the camera wire and press down on the top of the connector to disconnect the wire.5. Grip both sides of the camera's plastic C-shaped retainer (it's the same one that comes with this camera) and gently wriggle and pull off.6. Use your trim tool to pop out the last clip holding the camera wire to the trunk lid.Your old camera will now slide out from the outside. Reverse these steps to install the new camera.
