Use a deep socket and a flex head ratchet. Took maybe 3 minutes to change out.

Perfect fit in my 95 YJ 2.5L stock transfer case. Had to drop the skid plate and lower the tranny/transfercase assembly to get a wrench on the old one/installing the new one.

Said it would fit my truck but didn't , the diameter was to big also the vacuumed end turned out to be different also didn't see it until I took old one out went bought one local

The actuator is working great. The actuator switch was time consuming and a bit difficult to get to on top of the transfer case. Patience and perseverance showed a positive outcome.

Great part, if your dodge 4WD isnt coming out( light is staying on) the ball on this switch is probably stuck up, change this and it will fix you right up.
