Part is defective, installed new canister and its worked for a couple of days then codes came back, erase codes, smoked tested and no leaks nothing but codes kept on coming back, definitely not worth. Plus the 30 days return policy it’s out. SMH

I have the exact same issue as the other review, this part is either defective, not actually compatible or cheaply made.. I have been to three mechanic appointments so far, first time to have it installed, second time because the codes came right back, third time they finally said the part is cheap and we now have to get one from the Toyota dealer for about $600. The car has now failed inspection due to this, nevermind the financial hit and time wasted. And unlike the other review, I am not fortunate enough to get a refund as it's taken the entire return period window for the mechanic to figure out it was the new canister.DO NOT waste your time or money on this product.

Everything fit, but it still threw an error code (check engine light) after 3 days of driving. I tried to just swap out the electronic sensor with my old one, but it had a different seal that wasn’t compatible. I ended up using one I got from a junkyard on eBay. I did end up using the new brackets though because the old ones were damaged. Those fit well. Overall the most important part didn’t work.

I purchased this item, and had a mechanic install it. The car codes just came back. Brought it to a second mechanic, and they tested the item. Straight from Dorman a valve in the item isn't operating properly. So after two mechanic fees, and the purchase of this item, I had to purchase a Toyota OEM part to clear the code. Don't waste your time or money. This has been a $1,000+ mistake!Update: Fortunately, Amazon did the right thing by allowing a one time refund after it had surpassed its return date. Thank you for making it right! :)

Got this for my 2015 Toyota Rav4 XLE, worked for a few weeks then code came back. Didn't even think It could be this because it's new right (?)......WRONG! After chasing my tail trying to figure out what was wrong with my car and replacing other parts that wasn't necessary, I revisited this and replaced it again, this time with an OEM from Toyota and my car is now running great. This faulty product ultimately cost me twice the amount to fix my car, because once I had figured out it was a bad replacement the window for a return had already passed. DO NOT BUY !!!!!!!!!
