Worked great for rebuilding my 99 C5 Corvette torque tube. I didnt use the supplied bolts, I reused the factory ones.

I've had good luck with Dorman parts in the past and these fall in line with what I've previously experienced with the brand. These are much less expensive than factory replacements so I'm very curious to see how well they will hold up. So far, no issues. I will update this review in the future if I have any problems.*UPDATE*Over a year since my torque tube rebuild and no issues. I'm honestly surprised they're holding together since these are in my daily driver that gets abused regularly with a 300 shot of nitrous from an NOS Pro Shot Fogger kit. I'll try to remember to update this again at the 2 year mark.

After purchasing my second one, I feel the need to edit my review heavily. I previously left a 4 star review. The first Dorman replacement I bought lasted just shy of 4 months, and replaced a non-Dorman disk that lasted a little over a year. The failure may be due to an improper installation (there is a particular orientation that this disk should be installed), but this Dorman brand replacement DOES NOT HAVE the arrows which indicate which direction it should be installed. I have compared it to pictures of a proper replacement disk and used this info for how to install it correctly with no guarantees that it is actually how it's supposed to go. When it failed, it also collapsed in a way that allowed the transmission-side bolts to contact the driveshaft flange, causing damage to both the bolts and the flanges, and indicating to me that whatever inner structure the product is supposed to have is inadequate when compared to an OEM equivalent. The only saving grace of this disk is that it included the hardware, which the non-Dorman replacement I had previously did not. The socket-cap screws, while offering a slightly easier replacement, have no flange and may not be up to spec for this application.

First off, it's made in china. If i would have known that, I wouldn't have purchased it. I really don't like supporting America hating commies. Second, the screws provided aren't even the correct ones, and yes, this part is supposed to be a direct replacement for a 98 corvette.

I put this on my car last week. These "guibo" flex disks are supposed to last for thousands of miles so I guess we'll have to wait and see how it lasts. This one was a wee-bit thinner than the one I took off my 1982 BMW 320i. That may have been because the old one expanded over time though--not sure. The bolts on this Dorman flex disk are also hex bit bolts. So make sure you have hex bits to attach this thing. If all you have are regular socket wrenches then you'll be out of luck. I tightened the bolts to 34ft/lbs.
