The box is a nice size, the dual clasps, looks nice but a pain to access contents. The pouches are meant for the key fob, I get that, however, in everyday life, it is usually attached to a bunch of keys…that does not fit well in the pouch.

This is my second faraday box actually, but it's my new favorite. I needed a storage solution for my ever-expanding collection of external hard drives that I use for work, media, etc., and my old cell phones, but I wanted something that would keep them safe in every sense of the word. I didn't even know about faraday ANYTHING until my brother-in-law who works in I.T. mentioned them. Now, to be clear, I'm not super worried about an EMP suddenly destroying all of my electronic devices or about nefarious actors infiltrating my collection of digitized family photos from my childhood ... well, I wasn't until my BIL mentioned them, because I didn't even know that those scenarios were genuine possibilities. I'm still not THAT worried about either one, but I'm not NOT worried about them either. I've taken to thinking about them as I do insurance: The odds of ever needing it are slim, but the potential consequences of NOT having it could be catastrophic. Low probability, high consequence. So after my conversation with my BIL, I started looking into them.He actually recommended faraday BAGS, but after buying one and trying it out, I realized that the amorphous shape made storage and organization challenging. They don't just slide easily into a shelf, or stand nicely in the drawer. They collapse unless you lay them flat – and unless there's nothing else in the drawer or on the shelf, they inevitably have to lie on top of something or under something. To me, that's just annoying. Then I discovered faraday BOXES, which are absolutely perfect for me. The protection and isolation from various types of signals, etc. aside, the shape is perfect for small electronics, like external hard drives, cell phones, USB thumb drives, etc. And the fact that it's square and rigid means that, unlike faraday bags, it's freestanding and easily stackable. And the smooth black surface and double-lock lid is unassuming in its design, so it looks really nice sitting out on a desk (again, unlike the bags, which just look messy if you leave out anywhere). As may have figured out by now, I'm not a tech whiz, so I can't talk about all the ins-and-outs of the signals it blocks and all the exhaustive tests I conducted to make sure that it protects against everything the listing says it does. But I did do a couple of amateur tests, to test its baseline blocking abilities, just to give myself a little peace of mind. I put my work iPhone inside the box and locked it (after turning the phone on of course) and tried reaching it with my personal phone by calling it, texting it, air-dropping photos, emailing, etc. I left the work phone inside the box for about 30 mins, walked away, and when I came back to check on it, I'm pleased to say that my work phone hadn't registered any of them. It didn't even show a missed call! So, I can say that the box is at LEAST that effective. Now, if there's a massive coronal mass ejection tomorrow that destroys most of the world's digital infrastructure and sends us back to the Stone Age, will the USB sticks and external hard drives and my old cell phone still work? No clue. But I do feel like they have a higher chance of surviving in there than they do in my file cabinet. :)I bought this box for the BOX, but it also came with 2 little faraday bags for mini electronics, like key fobs. Maybe I should be more worried about someone stealing my car, but it's 11 years old, so I say have at it if you need a car that badly. So I use the little bags for my key fobs. But I DO use them for the USB thumb drives that I need to carry around with me when I travel. They're the perfect pouch to hold 2-3 of them, depending on the size of your devices. Again, I'm less worried about them getting de-magnetized (or whatever it is that happens to them when they go bad) than I am about them getting crushed inside my bag, but I love that the pouches help protect them from BOTH. So, win!The only thing that could make this box any better is if it were a little bit larger. I have an 8TB hard drive I'd love to be able to store in there, but it's about the size of a copy of War and Peace, so it's a bit too big for this box. But that's not the box's fault, I suppose. I'll need to buy a bigger box. :)Highly recommended! I'll be buying at least one more of these for my office!

I was unable to open the car doors after putting my car key into Faraday Box or Bags which seem to block the signal completely. I even put the box or bag on the doorknob and received no response from the car. Thus, I’m fully convinced that Both Faraday Box and Bags worked as described. As I also tested, the box wouldn’t block iPhone signal because the phone uses different frequency. The workmanship for the box seems to be good while bag’s edge seems to be a bit rough. The box is spacious enough to hold 4 keys without any issues. The bag is basically flat by design and can hold one key per bag. Because it is flat and not as flexible as cloth, it looks bulky and takes up space. In other words, it may not fit clothe pocket. In overall, the product works as described.

If looking at measurements, be forwarned, it's for the OUTSIDE of the box. It has rather thick walls, so it is actually quite a bit smaller than the measurements show. I was disappointed my phone would not fit in it and returned.

Unlike others this one is a good size fits two sets of key chains with other keys air tags and various trinkets plus two spare car keys. Not really using the extra “wallets”.

Box works. Placed keys in car then took the box out to the car. Car doors did not open. Removed keys out of the box and drivers car door opened. Also it comes with two pouches which makes it a great buy. 👍🏾

I tested this out by putting it the box and it could not be detected by my truck. The box and key holders and of good quality. I also tested the key holders and they did the job perfectly.
