These are just like the tool truck brand if not the same I’m not 100% sure on manufacturer here that said it’s a sweet kit that has pretty much your three most used sizes. The only thing that’s really missing is an 8th inch drillbit and half inch and you’d have the full meal deal of what average Joe Really needs and then you could just bore out or re-out any holes from there to fit. it’s an excellent I was beyond shocked at what I could what holes I could drill in absolutely no time in Spring steel no less with little to no heat and without supporting this deal with my hand, it was just held in one corner by device And no problem using a subpar drill at that long-term reliability of these bits as long as you treat them well and use a lubricant while you’re drilling, don’t abuse them. I see them lasting a good long time now I’m not sure how the price is. I know the last time I went to send the link to a friend that the price it almost doubled From when I had bought it in it had only been a week if that from the time that it arrived to the time that I went to send that link but truthful even at that price it was a good deal most of these bits so far around the 30 $40 each kind of mark I honestly thought that’s what I was getting was a single drill bit. I know the right up says with the right says, but I tend to go by some of the write up in some of the picture assess after arrival. Which I live in eastern Canada doesn’t have Matco available to us so having a chance to get whether they’re a similar product or just a different branding of the same manufacturers tool because the way we all know how re-brains work and how complicated and convoluted that gets so whether this is a stepped tip drill bit design of its own or another brand of the same product that is sold by Matco and sold online under a non tool truck brand similar to how the anti vibe hammers are sold by Stanley black and decker under the Mac and Proto names with only the name being changed then change the colour and sell for slightly less under the Stanley brand and simplify the design slightly and sell it for even less under the craftsman brand the same way they sell the RBRT hex bit sockets I’m not saying that’s what is happening here not at all more saying it’s either that or it’s an independent brand with an alternative that is functionally the same I’m not sure where these bits were made nor do I have a clue what the warranty on them is like tho the days of lifetime warranty on drill bits outside of tool truck brands is almost completely behind us at this point honestly treat these with respect and use cutting oil or something like that and these bits will no doubt pay for themselves they do the thing better than I ever thought I’d get them again!

I needed to make 1/4" holes in plastic, by hand. I looked at tapered bits, but most of them max out at #14. I used hand drills as a kid and remember them chewing up my hands and being very unwieldy. I stumbled across "pin vices", but most of those look like they're for jewelry and tiny things. So I bought just a normal keyless drill chuck and tried it with a 1/4" bit I had. It worked, but the bit was hard to start and once started it was very aggressive which made it hard to turn. Then I stumbled across this set of bits while I was looking at step bits. Bingo! Starts out as a tiny bit which is easy to start. Once started, it gradually adds more and more until you get to 1/4" and it doesn't keep getting bigger like normal step bits, so you keep the mechanical advantage of the large drill chuck vs the small drill bit.

These work amazing, as long as you are careful, the shaft was not hardened on mine which allows them to bend and not snap.

these drill bits are great, i have them in multiple sizes, but twice i have ordered the 3 pcs set, the first time i only got one drill bit, this time i got 2 drill bits. I believe i am giving up trying now, as much as i wanted this set for its value i cant risk ordering it again .
