About this item

  • A good tool to monitor battery and charging voltage status of auto, moto, car etc
  • Reversed connection protection prevents the meter from being burn when wires are connected reversely
  • Its decimal point will move automatically according to different measured voltage
  • Simply connect the red and black wire to positive and negative pole of measured voltage respectively
  • Moisture-proof, anti-oil, anti-vibration and waterproof(please not merge the meter in water)

Parameters: Measure range: DC 2. 5-30. 0V Minimum input: DC 2. 5V Maximum input: DC 30V Min input: DC 2. 5V Permissible Error: 1%; + / - 1 digit(its accuracy is 0. 01V when in less than 10V and 0. 1V when in more than 10V) Display: three 0. 40" LED digital tube Refresh rate: about 200mS Power supply: requires no extra power supply Current consumption: about 5-20mA Operating temperature: -10 °c ~ 65 °c Dimensions: 40x25x23mm Descriptions: 1. The volt meter adopts epoxy potting design; it is waterproof, anti-oil, moistureproof, shockproof and dust-proof 2. Connect the red wire to positive pole of measured voltage and black wire to negative pole of measured voltage 3. It requires low voltage to start working which is more convenient for lithium and 18650 battery users 4. Its digital point is moveable in accordance with your measured voltage; specifically, it will display two digits after the decimal point when voltage is less than 10V and display one digit after the decimal point when volt is more than 10V Please Note: Do not need power supply, can measure 2. 5-30V directly If the input voltage is below 3. 5V, the display brightness dims If the input voltage is below 2. 5V, measuring inaccurate or no display If measure 10V below, accurate to 0. 01V, display x. xx If measure 10V or more, accurate to 0. 1V, display xx. x Please don't use this meter in 24V battery because when the battery is full-charged, its voltage will be about 30V(the max input volt for this meter), and we don't suggest you use it in max volt of 30V Package Include: 1x Digital Voltmeter

Installed it on my mower for a battery voltage monitor. Just what I needed. Fit the existing hole. Worked great for one mowing; about a half hour. Now completely dead. Not worth the effort to return it.UPDATE: I couldn't really believe it failed on its own. It happened instantly when the key was turned off. After some research, I discovered that the mower generated a 50V negative spike when the key was turned off. Probably the fuel cutoff solenoid. I built a spike filter to put in between the key switch and meter. Hopefully it will keep such things out of the meter's electronics. I upped the rating to 4 stars.

These are really handy for a multitude of uses. I use them to monitor solar panels and ham radio equipment. The accuracy isn’t as precise as my Fluke meters but that’s not critical in my applications. Fast delivery. Very easy to read even from a distance. Draw very little current.

I installed this meter on my motorcycle. I first tested it against my VOM and it was right on. Installation was simple especially because I was replacing a red LED meter to see if the green was more visible. It is very bright. I made a hood for it to keep sunlight off. Works for me.

Made my own portable battery volt meter with it... Embedded it in a plastic outlet box with a set of alligator clips with wires. Use it to check batteries and alternators on our equipment. Small and handy.. Bright as hell.

Installed this on my solar bank and discovered that the item reads about .2 volts off than actual. Used my volt meter and automatic transfer switch and charge controller to determine this unit is not accurate. It is however nice and bright.

I live in the extreme N.E.Wyoming backwoods of the Black Hills, I have many different types of equipment -(a 1974 F-250, my daily driver a 1994 GMC K-2500, my 78 yr. young mother's 2005 Tundra) just to name the trucks, this well built Voltmeter will let me know when something is "not up to standard"- here 70+ miles from any city with parts It can easily become a matter of "life or not" . With the many sensors on even my 21 yr. old GMC, any number of malfunctions could cause one of the pcs. of equipment to not charge, or over-charge, I must "excite" the voltage regulator on our plow truck or it will not kick in the 70 amp. alternator (I have to have 2 batteries for that truck to operate the H.D. hydraulic pump to lift the 500 lb. blade for plowing) I can depend on this small, but very accurate voltmeter to let me know when everything is charging within the parameters that each of our very necessary and highly valued items of equipment that make living "Away from the masses of spoiled and nonsupporting folks" (through no fault of their own, some just can't fathom no modern conveniences) even my internet and TV comes from 3 satellite antenna, that has a certain voltage that must be checked at times- We, my mom and myself, love the beauty of the "wild country" How many folks can watch an eagle on the wing, hear the coyotes, watch a Mountain Lion stalking a whitetail" Things like this small meter from DROK and other simple maintenance items allow even my 58 yr. old crippled up (I have extreme, sever, RA) to live "The Good Life"- Thanks to DROK and to Amazon for making such High Quality (technical too, Digital) Items that help "Keep it Simple" and to all who take time to write detailed reviews about what to expect- Have a wonderful Day, I will!!

... they mean it! If using on a boat, or any daytime outdoors location, I swear you can see this thing from a mile away (Okay, exageration there, but it is seriously bright). I used it in my car to keep an eye on my electrical as I have a few high draw amplifiers and no way to be sure my car ios handling the load well. I ended up needing to use some double sided carpet tape and white construction paper to cover it up so it wouldn't blind me at night. It did look cool at night though before this as it lit up the entire car green! The meter has also tested accurate, I kept a multimeter connected to the same circuit for a while to compare the readings and it was never off by more than .1 volts. This is a good buy if you need an accurate bright meter.

It took me awhile to install the voltmeter because I had to make a wood enclosure so I could install it in a plastic cabinet. I love this little thing because I can now tell what my battery is doing. I installed a solar collector to charge a battery that would pump water from a 500 gallon tank to water my garden. I never knew exactly what my battery was doing even though the controller has three red lights. Low, medium and full charge. Now I know exactly where my battery is doing. After using the pump several minutes the controller showed the battery at two red lights. Was that good or bad? Now as I use the pump the voltmeter goes down from 14.6 to 12 volts while the sun is shinning. When I stop the pump the voltage starts to rise until it reaches 14.6 volts in just a few minutes. So now I know I need two more collectors and another battery. The photos show what I am describing. The third photo shows a reflection of the underside of the collector and our magnificent mountain view.

Works nicely. Wish it came with a mounting bracket. My homemade bracket was rough. did not turn out well, but that is nothing against the gauge.Very bright. Display will only fade out in very bright, direct sunlight.I use the gauge to watch voltage on my KLR when using my electric jacket liner and gloves. I use more juice than the KLR can provide and this gauge lets me know when it is time to charge my battery.
