This drum mat works perfectly and helps keep the sound down. My son is on the 2nd floor and we hardly hear him in the 1st floor livingroom.

This drum rug is thin and lightweight but durable. It is well-made and well-packed. The non-stick side keeps the rug in place on the floor and doesn't slide when the drums are being played. It has a pleasant floral imprint on the top side. The drums stay in place nicely. Spills dry quickly, and it's easy to clean. 10 out of 10!

We got this drum mat to go under a drum set, in a room that we built with soundproof panels.This drum mat definitely helps cut down on the sound outside the room. It made a noticeable difference.

Extremely disappointed. This arrived folded, and even after a week on the floor, I can still see every fold mark on the thing, and it's unattractive. The black mat also shows every speck of dust and hair. Worst of all, the spikes on the bass drum ripped through the carpet fabric within the first week and my wood floor below got scratched. Avoid.

With apologies in advance to drummers, I don't have a drum set, so I can't comment on the how well this mat performs under actual drumming conditions. Instead, I am using this mat to cover a portion of my basement music/guitar room that otherwise has concrete floors. The mat itself is black with some leaf designs on it. It basically looks black. The back smooth and lays well along the floor. The top of the mat is not entirely smooth as there is a bit of a texture to it. Overall it feels smooth under you feet, but the slight texture provided by the leaf design seems to aid in keeping things firmly in place.I have several guitar stands sitting on the mat, as shown in the pictures. I'm quite pleased with it as it serves my purposes. Based on the size, I would think it would be good for a small-to-medium drum setup, but if you have a very large setup make sure you confirm the dimensions that you'll need.I haven't noticed any issues with stitching, with no frayed edges or anything like that thus far.

This is a great rug, it has tons of grip, and a decent amount of padding, helps isolate the sound of your drums and minimize vibrations and wear on hard flooring. The mat is not that big compared to some larger sets, so for a smaller set, a jazz set, an electric set this is plenty big enough, but for a larger rock set with multiple floor toms, and or double bass drums would definitely extend beyond the mat. Drum mats give you the ability to use your traction spikes on your bas drum legs, and foot pedals much more effectively, and protect your floor from their sharp points. The grip silicone dots on the bottom are arranged in a super cool pattern making it kind of confusing why the cool pattern was put facing down. However, they serve a function much more important than looks so definitely want to put them facing down. It's cool that they would make it into a pattern, but silly because you'll never see that pattern. The instructions on the advertisement say to iron out the seams from the packing and vacuum sealing, however they didn't iron out very much at all. Although it didn't matter in the end as just unfolding it and letting it naturally return to shape basically got rid of all the creases.I have no complaints. this is a solid drum mat/rug. And I would definitely recommend.

We used this mat at a kids recital. There was still a little slippage and shifting of the kit but considering how many kids were rotating through, jumping on and off the kit it seemed pretty acceptable and held up okay.

The drummer's pad is a nice, thick quality and the print looks great. However, it came folded up, and the wrinkles are hard to get out, which is a bit of a downside. I’ve also noticed that heavier pieces tend to scratch the surface, so be cautious with that. Overall, it’s a solid pad, just a couple of minor things to keep in mind.
