I need front shocks for Honda fourtrax 300FW, that are hard (if not impossible) to find at any price let alone a fair price. So I took a chance, and was pleased to see that I could make some small modifications to these.After that the fit, and function perfectly. The bolt holes/ sleeves through the rubber bushings are the correct size. The overall shock length is aprox 1" longer but works well. Both the upper, and lower bolt sleeves are a little too long, but can be trimmed to correct size. I used die grinder with cut-off wheel, and kept sleeve cool with water so as not to burn the rubber, but a sawzall would probably work just as well. No issues with length or travel.
