this is an awesome tail bag! I just got it, and this is what i know:- durable and resistant to weather than others I've had- made of weatherproof polyester- I don't like the weird teal/purple duck design, but also don't care much since it will be muddy soon.- box says its washable -- to be determined, but definitely feels like it would be- There is an elastic tie/drawstring and a button to braid it into the tail -- that doesn't seem very secure to meand i might lose this in the field. Maybe for horses that are being transported -- but my horse is in the pasture, and even the tail bags that tie in don't stay in her thick hair (Percheron).- Nonetheless, great price for a nice tail bag!

Horse Tail bag. Made of breathable material that feels sturdy and well made. Will protect horse tail while traveling, before shows and on rainy days to keep it mud free. Arrived quickly, will be getting another one for my other horse.

this product came in exactly as described. The product had a wind breaker material. It did fit nicely on my horse however i am concerned about the integrity of the product and how long it will last. The color is beautiful and the fitting was described accurately. I will be looking for more products from this seller

I got this for a horse with Cushings, hoping to wrap his tail to help keep him clean. I was disappointed. First, the fabric is a thin plastic, like a disposable rain jacket. It won't hold up if he scratches his butt on the stable, and definitely would only last a couple of hand washes. Second, I wouldn't have got this if I'd realized there was fringe, especially the thin easily tangled type I'm used to seeing on dance recital costumes. Not washable and not at all durable. Third, the zipper is not heavy duty at all. it easily breaks and catches as it is the lightest weight made for dresses and has very small plastic teeth. Fourth, IDK what the circumference of your pony's/horse's tail is - but see the photos. I can barely get my (medium-sized) hand into the wrap as far as my third knuckles. It measures just under 4" across. The length of the plastic part is about 30", and the fringe another 3.25 inches. Finally, the print is just - odd, with things like "B. Duck" and "Hop" and some type of space alien? printed on the blue-green background. Possibly designed for an Asian market. On the plus side, the top closure has a cinch and a button-through to keep in on the horse. In summary, maybe it would work on the right horse as a one-time thing. I hope the manufacturer goes back for a redesign as the concept is good,

I like the ease of use and the zipper. The strips on the bottom are perfect length to swat at flies! The color choices make it difficult to pick just one.

The way the zipper and drawstring on this work, this seems like all it's going to do is tangle up in the tail when you put it on or take it off. The fabric does seem durable, but this makes the bag a lot less flexible than others, and that open bottom is just going to be another way for dirt to work its way in.

This has a zipper in it!! This is a game changer putting on a tail bag for your horse. It’s great fabric and the tassels on the bottom help them swat the flies. Great tail bag to keep the braid in and help with tangles.

I got this tail bag for a horse that has fecal water syndrome to keep her tail clean. The material has a unique print and is made of a waterproof parka type material. The bottom has a fly tassel which is a nice addition. The bottom is also open which is unique. For the horse I need it for that will work fine because I'm just trying to protect her hair, if this was for a horse that I was trying to grow out a show tail on I prefer a closed bottom. The tail bag is unique and does the job I need it for so overall I recommend it.
