After going through a lot of inexpensive microphones and then finally spending a long time shopping for my first "really good" microphone, I'd gained enough knowledge to develop some expectations according to price when it came to mics. But this Riworal USB/XLR Podcast Dynamic Microphone Super Cardioid Studio Mic Kit completely defied expectations. To be fair, the fact it had multi modes of connection and a headphone outlet in the base may have even LOWERED my expectations a bit more, but my goodness - the one came though in a magnificent way.It actually sounds much, much better than your average $100 stage or recording microphone. It has depth and warmth, but not the fake-y "this has been clearly processed more than Cheese Whiz" kind of sound. It just sounds authentically warm and solid.Could be it just agrees with my voice and I got lucky for a bargain-priced mic to sound so good.My prevailing theory is that someone put a $400 microphone in the box by mistake and I just got lucky (ha! but it really DOES sound that good).I didn't expect to use the headphone port for monitoring on the mic, but one day I was rushed in recording some content and had to plug it - that worked EXTREMELY well and was super easy (and made me start to wonder if I'd been hauling around a bunch more equipment than I needed?).When I shopped for my HG mic a couple years back, I listened to 1,001 mics. Almost universally, the ones that were "multi-function" or "multi connection" traded off the quality of tone for that convenience. Nearly all of them came off much more tinny than I wanted. That is not happening here at all. This is one fantastic microphone, and the ease of use is just more real-butter buttercream icing on top.I don't know how they made such a quality mic with these features at this price point, but I'm seriously considering getting a second one for the more "knock around" type jobs where if something gets dropped, you don't have to file bankruptcy. It's THAT good of a mic.The cord with it is fine, but I paired mine with the existing cord to my setup, which is a higher dollar, well-insulated model (which probably helps to ensure zero noise, good connections, etc.).But this one is worth every penny, y'all. Get it, try it out, be as surprised as I was. Like hitting the A/V lotto right here.Five stars times infinity!

I can use this with Canva and that's what I was hoping for. It's not working with some other software site I signed up with that's still in Beta, but I like using it with my phone as well. The stand is perfect for hands-free speaking.

Pros:Sturdy build quality.Comes with both USB and XLR connections.Relatively affordable.Cons:Poor audio capture quality.Doesn't pick up voice very well. Not very loud.Overall:This is a low-quality microphone with poor audio capture. It doesn't pick up my voice very well and it's not very loud. The build quality seems sturdy, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. I would not recommend this microphone to anyone who is serious about audio recording.Additional thoughts:I was really disappointed with this microphone. I was expecting it to be better, especially for the price. The audio capture is just terrible. My voice sounds muffled and low-quality. I also find that it's not very loud, even when I turn the gain up all the way.If you're looking for a good microphone, I would definitely look elsewhere. This one is not worth your money.

This is a pretty good little mic. I would say th we highs are slightly low it's not a super bright mic. But it's a decently flat response curve and sounds good for the price no doubt depends on what you use it foe. However the ability to connect with ease through usb, or phantom powered XLR is just so great. Also has a headphone jack out so you can monitor via speakers or headphones which is a godsend for recording. Adjust your eq and you will be happy with this actually.

Very impressed by this mic. The weight is great, the couplings all work very well, and it commanded attention when it was called for. Great product!

Could have slightly better sound quality but decent for amateurs trying to just get the basics down.

If you're just getting started with content creation or streaming, honestly this is a pretty great step up from something like a gaming headset and is worth the price. It's not top of the line, but at this price range it doesn't really need to be.
