This is the Dynamite 5x Traditional Italian Marble Polishing Powder - 2lbs and this is just what you need. Dynamite 5x is a traditional Italian marble polishing powder that really makes the stone pop with shine. It can be used on marble, travertine, limestone, terrazzo, and other calcite stones. You can use Dynamite 5x on practically any surface: floors, counters, walls, and steps. The best results are achieved if this polishing powder is used after diamond refinishing, but it can also be used as a standalone procedure. Dynamite 5x is a potent, but non-problematic, easy to use, and easy to clean up traditional Italian marble polishing powder.
Just add enough water to create a wet slurry that is not too watery. Polish in a circular or linear fashion until your desired gloss is achieved. Besides being an extremely fast polishing compound for marble, a couple of other features of this product that restoration contractors really like is that it dissolves immediately in the water, so it goes right to work, and there is no grit which minimizes clean up. This is the 2lb container of Dynamite 5x. One pound of powder will cover approximately 150 square feet depending on the stone being polished.

Great stuff - and just s little will go along way! Dont try to polish any marble or stone without this powder - fast results and beautiful floors!

I have a marble hearth. The piece on the floor has hair line cracks. I sanded it down to smooth it out, but that left a dull finish. After sanding it with very fine sandpaper up to 7,000 grit, it was still dull. So, I bought this stuff and used a power buffer. After a couple of hours work, the gloss acme back.

First can came in a envelope and was busted open. Had to wait for replacement. Couldn’t tell any difference after using. Didn’t remove even the slightest scratch.

This stuff works pretty well. I polished our counter tops with it and they initally came out a little hazy. I applied a second round and applied more elbow grease and they shined right up. Still felt like there was a little haze but I followed up the Polish with a quality marble sealer and BOOM! That's the ticket. Follow the Polish up with a good sealer and the counter tops shine better than new. I only gave it 4 stars because I felt like the sealer was a requirement to get the benefits.

When you think you've run the buffer on it long enough multiply the time by 5 to get a little shine. Not impressed with how it did on my travertine.

I used a 71/2 inch sander polisher to do the job with my Grizzly Hogs Hair pad my kitchen floor looks like new . I have never done anything like this before so I was worried especially doing a 15 x 15 kitchen floor all marble and granite. I saved a lot of money and a whole day's work.

Worked well, the container was open in the shipping envelope which has nothing to do with how well the product worked, it did what I needed it to do.
