The Greenstuff range emits less dust than equivalent semi metallic pads and has been proven in tests to stop a vehicle 20 feet sooner than using stock pads. Pads are fully shimmed chamfered and slotted for silent braking and feature the EBC brake-in surface coating to accelerate pad bed in after install. I love the brakes, but not sure they are a good value. I have a 2009 Nissan Altima that I drive primarily around town and on local freeways. The original brakes had 52, 500 miles on them, but had not worn out. I bought 4 rotors and pads from EBC in Feb 2015 and installed them. The original brakes braked OK, but I didn't like the way they were responding. After replacing all rotors and pads with EBC, the braking has been excellent. They are the only brakes I have ever had that when doing average (braking at low speeds to a gradual stop) braking, the pads seemed to increase the braking even though I only had a light, but consistent pressure on the pedal. If I had to do any serious braking, they always responded and never had any brake fade. That's the great news..... The brake performance is fantastic. Hence, the five star review. However, they do dust up quite a bit, some weeks worse than others, for some reason.The part that I find frustrating is that the rear brakes only lasted 15,400 miles. I was told by Nissan that Altima rear brakes wear faster that the front. They were at .003 after 22 months and 15,400 miles. The front brakes still had plenty of pad remaining. Because of the EBC recommendation, I once again replaced the rear brakes with the Greenstuff 2000 Series. I would have changed to another pad, but decided to not change both front and rear. The rotors were fine, nice and smooth with no wear or warping. I would have expected to get at least twice the mileage out of the pads than what I did because my driving habits don't abuse the brake systems.

Quiet pads, but that's expected. However, compared to the OEM pads, these are very very dusty. Makes my wheels dirty. I have these on the rear and oem on the front. The rear wheels is very dirty and when you rinse the wheels, you can see a dark stream of dirty water running down the driveway.I will not buy these pads in the future.

Installed these on 3 different vehicles with great results. These have excellent stopping power, the brake pedal feels good, they also ware well and are NOT too hard on the rotors.
