For optimum lifetime in track use EBC still recommend drivers to upgrade to their Yellowstuff or even the new Bluestuff range but if fast street is what you need, EBC Redstuff Ceramic is the pad to choose.

These do not fit Porsche 987.2 S Boxsters and Caymans from 2009-2012, though Amazon says they do. They have a different shape and would require significant reshaping in order to be installed. This error by Amazon cost me several hours of needless extra work. I now have only 1 day to return them, which I had been unaware of. Seems I bought them and sat on them. Good thing I had the day off finally and tried to install them.

Great pads for street use.....watch your sensor type holes....I run them on GT2 calipers, no issues

Title says it all, the cutout in the pad backing is incorrect for 996 GT3 rear, looks like other people have the same complaint when using them for fronts on other 911 trims. Sent EBC an email w no response.If you don't care about the sensors these will fit just fine, but this is absolutely inexcusable for a street pad.

Does not fit. They are too tool and sensor connections are in wrong space and size shape

The pads had a different design than my factory pads which would not allow the braking sensor to mount securely (seen in the photo on the right hand side of the pads where the indentation is). If I was to install as is with the brake sensor loose I would have had a red “Brake” light on the car at all times. I made sure before purchasing that it was supposed to fit my car 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet and it did not.

Even though the product guide states it fits my car. They are 121 mm wide and the 996 turbo requires 140 mm wide. I would like to return them but I am just outside the 30 day return date. FYI to future buyers DP31515C will fit.

Replaced front and rear. Much less dust and stopping power equal to or better than the Textars (stock) I replaced. Porsche 996Note that there was a quite loud grinding noise i could actually feel in the pedal for the first few miles. This is normal as the pads are sprayed with an abrasive made to quickly cut the glaze or coating off the rotors. Though a little scary sounding, it goes away in 50 miles or so.Remember to BED the pads after 500-1000 miles. I had coated new ATE rotors so it needs to wear down to completely bare metal on the pad surface. After 10 quick cycles of 60-10 mph stops, the brakes were fading (trouble stopping). You want to get the rotor/pads this hot to be them also to tempter the rotors. These aren't your standard pep boys pads to just replace and drive off.
