Your cart is empty.The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I installed these on my 2014 Porsche Cayman S. I am a white run group driver and post competitive lap times for street cars. I burned through 2 sets of front pads in 2 track weekends at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and one set of rear pads over the same two weekends. Braking was good with no fade, but durability was lower than even stock Porsche pads. Moreover, these pads ate heavily into new rotors and seemed to produce more dust than stock. (I'm going to shift to TRW ceramic pads for street and either Hawk or Pagid race pads for the track.)

I installed theses pads on the rear of my 15, Porsche Cayman S for a two days track weekend. I followed the break in instructions and had high hopes. I typically get two weekends out of a set of rear's, but these wore out before the OEM factory pads on the front did in just one weekend. Worse, when I pulled them off, the pad material was crumbling (see photo). They may be good for the street. I only drove them about 80 miles on the highway and had no noise or other problems and they do stop good. But I can't recommend them for track use.

The maximum braking power is abou the same as the Hawk HPS. maybe even better. but the problem is the dust is way way more.It's sticky and it's very black. the dust is not about the same as the OE pads, they are way more than that.but they are cheaper to get than the hawk of course
