Your cart is empty.The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

The website shows "Position: Rear" but they're actually FRONT pads for the Audi B8 / B8.5 platform cars. The model number is similar. The rears end with an 8R.The rears are actually pretty good on these cars even with spirited street driving / mountains and lots of autocross events. The fronts are a disaster. They just crumble from the heat. Not sure if I ever used the rears on Track but I'm thinking they'd be fine. These fronts are just trash. Audi's do most of the braking on the front so these pads are just inadequate. Ferodo DS2500 is good. Carbotech Bobcat is good for low dust pad. I introduced them to the pad shape a few years ago. They make proper race pads as well which I've used with some success.

Don't use on your Audi s4 and track. One 20 min track session at Autobahn Joliet and half the pad bubbled and melted away onto my calipers and rotors. Absolute garbage. EBC take the light track use off your packaging.

These pads are great if you are trying to use them on the track and street. I know it leads to less than ideal performance on track but I don't have the time to switch out pads before every track day. No noise/squeeks on the street and equal stopping ability and dusting during daily driving as OEM pads.

So far I'm incredibly satisfied.You don't have to resurface the rotor because these pads come with a 'resurfacing layer'. Its kinda rough like sandpaper and cleans the rotor for you. Just put it on.Handled a day of abuse at the track very well, and on a 3600lb car too. Minimal brake dust (except when you first put them on and its doing the resurfacing, tons of dust then).No noise at all!Only con so far, it was slightly difficult to fit into place in the caliper. I'm used to pads just sliding right in. I ended up using my C-clamp to pop this guy into place. Don't know if the snug fit is on purpose or not. I almost thought I got the wrong pad at first since it wouldnt fit.

Very good pads. Used them on a 2012 Audi S4 (~3700 lbs), stock brake system. Despite the incredible heat being generated (the tire valve stem caps melted), there was very little to no fade. Bite was good and progressive, although I personally prefer pads that are a bit more aggressive. Pedal feel is a touch too soft for me, and they do squeal a bit (not uncommon for autocross/track pads) so I give 4 instead of 5 stars. Otherwise, these are very good pads. I'm impressed. For what it's worth, I'm a club race driver and have been track driving since 2003.
