I didn't like that after replacing my stator, battery, and regulator. The regulator didn't last a year. I took my bike around the corner for a test drive and luckily i was close to home . The regulator was smoking like crazy. So now i have to get another regulator.

My original voltage regulator lasted 20 years before I had to replace it with this one. So far so good

Pésimo, la pieza resulto ser china y en cuanto la colocaron se volo el regulador.En mi experiencia no vuelvo a comprar asi.En el envio la pagina indicaba que venia por una paqueteria y despues que siempre no que era otra.Les tienes que rogar para que te proporcionen el numero de guia para rastrear tu producto.

I would have given it 5 stars but the wires going to the stator were just a bit short so I had to reroute them. works great so far but haven't gone on a long trip yet. will update when I make the run.

I ran the sites as the factory did, they were short so I had to extend them. I sure hope I don’t have the failure within a short time frame as I’ve read in other revues. I will try to update this when I get a chance to ride the bike but so far I’m not at all impressed with the quality compared to a genuine HD part. The wires as the exit the regulator are reversed also, attention to detail is not there. I have built bikes with non-Harley parts in the past and have made out ok, I hope this is not the part that fails me....Update:Took bike for a short ride, no change in the reading of the volt meter on faring. I have a digital meter that is in the cigarette lighter, voltage started at 11.7 and in 1/3 hour went to 11.6. The bike is do for service to get all the fluids changed etc. so I will get the charging system checked at that time and determine if this product was bad right out of the box (I suspect it is bad out if the box). If so I will bite the billet and use genuine HD replacement parts. So far this experience sucks ass! Dropped to 1 star unless it proves to be something else.

This fit my 2001 Road King perfectly and was a fraction of the price of buying an OEM from Harley Davidson. If you don’t care about having “HD” stamped on every part of your bike I recommend this.
