Suction cup mount only lasted 4 years, then wouldn't stick to windshield. I didn't want my edge inside CTS 2 to get broke in my door When falling off the windshield randomly. This is the best option the dash mount. The dashmount brings it closer so you can see the screen better. instructions were clear. A little gap around the bottom. But it's fine, I can deal with that.

Mount works awesome, however since I have a gauge pillar figment was a little off but I’m okay with it and looks awesome.

Love the way this looks on the dash of my 05 ram dually. Holds my CTS2 exactly where I wanted it and does not allow any movement.

All bits and pieces were there. Installation is overcomplicated by the instructions. But I am a mechanic by trade... the mount has been installed for a little over a year now, and I have many issues. The fitment is poor at best. It doesn’t fit tight to the dashboard, and the velcro bits don’t stay together. Even worse is that the plastic is now faded and several shades lighter than the dashboard now. And I don’t even live in a hot climate! I must say that I expected much, much better for what I paid. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because the Edge unit fits good, otherwise it isn’t worth half the list price.

Worked and fit well, color almost matched perfect to my slate gray dash, kind of hard to mount and get tabs where they need to be but seemed to hold well once mounted and looks pretty factory on the dash!!

Used it to mount my Smarty touch or you could use it for the Smarty MM3 looks great no holes to drill just needed to mod the opening for the jack coming out the back of the Smarty

I really like the form and fit of this pod. The exact placement of the L brackets (height wise) was a little difficult to determine however. Mine came out pretty well with only a very slight gap in the back of the pod. If I had it to do again I imagine that I would be able to get it flush after having done it once already. All I can say is take your time and do it right the first time. There are Youtube vids to help on some vehicle models. If there were recessed areas where the brackets go it would make it a no brainer.
