My husband recently updated his workspace and all the tech in it, so I got these for him to replace his old computer speakers. I'm glad I did because he loves these! To be upfront, though, he doesn't listen to a lot of music through them. It's more Zoom calls and YouTube videos, etc., but he says the sound is at least as good as his last set, which he liked a lot. The volume goes quite high, actually, so I'm sure they could be used for music, and the lights look really cool. We both love the look of these speakers--they're really impressive and beautiful--and he has been really excited about the several connection options. I don't know why he get so worked up about it (LOL), but he thinks the Bluetooth option is amazing. No idea why, really...but as you can probably guess, his last set of speakers was so old that it didn't have that ability, so I guess the Bluetooth thing feels very freeing to him or something. However, contrary to that free feeling is the fact that the speakers are still tethered together, so you can't separate them or place them very far apart. Still, he loves the overall look, including the visual lighting effects, and he was relieved they were so easy to set up, so he's very happy with them.

Sound was great even though I didn’t keep them. They were to big for my headboard, otherwise I loved them, great connection, the clarity of the Highs and lows where great. Just a couple inches to big!!

The great: Sound quality is really good. Note: At first the bass was muddy sounding and the mids and high were muffled, turn out that windows had sound enhancements turned on in sound settings. Turned that off and the speakers were good to go.The good: usb connection to my PC works well.The bad: the satellite speaker is hard wired and short in cable length, at this price point seems kind of cheap.The ugly: After 3 weeks of working, there was static coming out of the speakers. Unplugged the speakers and plugged them back in. After which they would constantly connect and disconnect every few seconds.Ended up with returning them. Thank you Amazon.

Idk how these have such a decent review. I’ve used $50 speakers that sounded better than these. They are muffled and sounded terrible.

I am pleased with the sound and the look of these speakers for my gaming desk. The construction is top notch and the lights on the front of the speakers ring completely around the edge with a not too garishly bright light that can be configured to different colors.The instructions are easy to read but these are pretty intuitive to get hooked up.> The left speaker has a permanently attached speaker wire that runs to the other speaker.> The right/main speaker has these ports in back:1. USB-A port to run directly to a computer or other device (USB-A to USB-A cable included)2. AUX 3.5mm jack to run directly to CD or MP3 players or other 2.5 or 3.5mm type of output device (cable not included)3. power input jack (cable included)On the main speaker, there are 3 buttons/knobs to operate the speakers:#1) is the top button for power and source functions:POWER - press 1.5 seconds for on/offSOURCE SELECTION - tap briefly to cycle through the 3 source types+ red light = USB connection+ blue light = AUX connection+ flashing blue light = ready for BLUETOOTH connection (EDIFIER QR30)#2) is the middle rotating knob for adjusting VOLUME level (for USB) or tap for PLAY CONTROLS (play/pause/mute)#3) is the bottom rotating knob for LIGHT EFFECTS selection (includes off and other colors)For configuration options, there is a phone app called the Edifier ConneX available on Play or Apple Store. I find speakers hard to review. The most important thing, to me at least, is how they sound and I can't put that in a review. For these speakers all I can say is they sound very good. I use them for various sound sources from movies, music, to audio from browser sources.I got these to replace my existing external speakers that were quite adequate but were wired and that caused me a lot of hassle at times with the connection. Switching to these for the Bluetooth connection with no loss of audio quality (as best I can hear) was an easy decision. Bluetooth also makes it easy to use with my phone.I use software to adjust the audio profile for type of music, etc.These speakers are slightly smaller than my existing speakers but not enough to make much of a difference me. The visual effects don't appeal to me but they're there if you want them.

I have used Edifier speakers before and they don't disappoint. Speakers are not usually overly flashy but focuses mostly on functionality and great price. All the controls are on the right speaker on this Bluetooth speaker set as well as mode switching, Bluetooth pairing, lighting mode and brightness. The mirrored finish is unique for Edifier but it is not overwhelming to look at and you can adjust it to your liking but best part is that it is functional as well since you can see volume adjustments visibly on the lighting as you make changes to it which is pretty neat. The speakers can be loud if you need it and also quite quiet as well for low level listening. Pairing was a cinch connecting to my iPad, phone and computer.
