Works as needed, but it takes a little bit of a learning curve for the user to understand the level of wetness needed to reduce sticking of the fish and rice. Glad I have this as one of my tools and as a bonus it smells just like the mountains of Japan!

This mold is very simple and the wood is untreated or sealed so the wood feeds rough and after one use it’s shedding fibers and splintering. Would not recommend.

I spent $27 on very poor quality wood, and within two days of using it, the glue on two of the pieces fell off. I can't continue making shapes, it's horrible! This kind of thing is worth $1 at most. I will never buy it again. The quality is very poor.
