The manual rotation broke literally the 2nd day with my eggs and the lid is a nightmare taking it on and off trying to get it to sit right again .. really pissed that my rotation broke

This incubator temp is consistently two degrees lower than what's actually indicated on the display. It's also in centigrade, with no option to set it to imperial freedom units. I quietly curse the fact that the U.S. is backwards enough that reasonable units of measurement were never taught to my generation.That said, it is consistent, so if you don't mind fiddling with the temp setting, and then popping on one of those little thermometers that's also a humidity sensor, it'll work. I attached mine with some bits of gator tape on the inside of the hood.Do watch the humidity number. The automatic water dispenser doesn't always actually let water into the unit when it's run dry. I've taken to lifting it a little higher than it generally sits, just to let a couple of glugs of water in, to make sure things don't run dry again.

It's very difficult to control humanity. Filling water bottle will keep humidity at around 80. You will have to ad small amounts of water constantly to control it
