This Mount Fits:
- Ruger No.1 B Barrel Contour
- Ruger No.1 S Barrel Contour
- This base is NOT Compatible with the Ruger #3.
- We have found that Ruger No. 1's with 24"-26" barrels typically came with B or S contour barrels. Guns that came with shorter barrels typically came with A contour barrels.
Scope Rail Specifications:
- Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite
- The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
- Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

Bolt holes were not even close to fitting my No. 1V heavy barrel 22-250. Contacted EGW directly and they gave me the correct number for my rifle. Returned this one, and got the right one from them.

This perfectly fit the hole and stud alignment of my Ruger No. 1 stainless steel 270 as a vent rib replacement. However, I did have to trim about 3/4" off one end since it extended into the area of the falling block.

Bought his for a very last minute change for a hunting trip, for my ruger no.1. Was very unhappy when the centering lugs did not line up. The front centering lug was too far back by about 1/16” and had to dremel it out to make it work.

I have a Ruger No. 1 in .308 and expected this rail to fit. After all, it is advertised without conditions to fit Ruger No. 1 rifles. Their only product is for a Ruger No. 1 varminter, which is not what I have. However, it does not follow the contour of my rifle. It rocks in the middle and cannot be installed.

This is the perfect scope mount for the Ruger #1. It gives a lot more scope adjustment for eye relief which is an issue with these guns. It is made well.
