Maybe I don't understand very well, but when I hear terms like "Optically worked" and see that there are precise specs provided on focal length, etc, I assume that this is going to be an extraordinarily high quality manufactured optic. Not so much.You can see in the photos that it looks dusty, but all of that is actually scratches and pitting on the surface. It's not really very round either.If you hold it 5cm from your face and look at your eyeball, I will say that the reflection is very very clear at that range, and really is a cool level of magnification, so I dunno. Maybe these imperfections don't make any difference? I'm not an expert in optics, just seems kinda weird, like I can't imagine needing some super high quality convex mirror and being cool with it being all pitted like this. But what do i know?
