I love the shade of blue on this. The cork bottom keeps it from sliding around, and it has a heavy bottom too so it's not moving around anyway. Nicely enameled all around and inside too, didn't skimp there. Excellent utensil holder. Zero complaints. 5/5

This item arrived very quickly, and was packaged great with absolutely no damage to the product. It was in a nice box that could be wrapped for a birthday gift, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day gift or a housewarming gift, maybe even an inexpensive wedding present. It is a beautiful blue ceramic Container that has a cork bottom. The glazing on the container is perfect. It is glazed in the inside also. This could be used for utensils, silverware, art supplies or even a plant. I am sure could have many other uses depending on what you need it for . It is very nice, very well-made. It is a beautiful blue color with a natural looking cork base. I got it to put art supplies in. If anyone were looking for a ceramic container like this, I would most definitely recommend looking into this one. With the core base it also makes it non-slip. And I would most definitely recommend five stars for this. Also, with such nice glazing, I’m sure that you will be able to take a damp rag and clean it out whenever I need it or dusted because you would not want to submerge the base in water. It is made very well and with proper care this item should last a lifetime. Also, you can personalize the outside of the container and change it whenever you would like since hot glue or items like that, would it be easily removed from the exterior. That is what my grandkids and I are going to do to the exterior of this one to make it our own.

This is a lovely stoneware crock. It is well made and nicely (but imperfectly) glazed + there is a sturdy cork bottom shaped like a cup that extends up the sides to protect surfaces from scratches or other damage. The crock is quite large so it can be used to hold just about anything. I ordered it with the idea of using it for kitchen utensils, but it would also be great as a pen and pencil holder, or for art or sewing supplies. I do have to say that using it for storing k-cups would be pretty far down on my list, though...The crock has a robust look and feel, with a thick, heavy base and sides so it is very strong and durable. With a diameter that almost matches the height, the crock is very stable, and I can easily fit 15 to 20 of my favorite stainless steel cooking utensils in it with no danger of tipping (and of course the crock is sturdy enough to handle the weight of all of those spoons, forks, spatulas and skimmers). The crock is nicely shaped and the surfaces are smooth but unfortunately the glaze has a few noticeable flaws. I chose the navy blue version and the color is great, but it does nothing to minimize the wide scrape of a bare area left near the base close to the cork where no glaze at all was applied. I don't think the crock should have passed QC with such an obvious flaw. There are a couple of other very minor imperfections as well, but they don't bother me as much. It appears that the cork bottom was intended to be fixed in place, as there are streaks of dried glue inside of it but it actually arrived completely separated from the crock. I actually like that better as I can wash the crock in the sink and don't need to worry about damaging the cork, which is quite pretty on its own. All in all, this crock is of very good quality and it is a shame that a little more care wasn't taken with the glazing. The crock was well protected against damage during shipping and arrived packaged in bubble wrap and nestled in styrofoam + nicely boxed. The price is a bit high but still within reason.
