Instead of being their competitors passive swatter that I have to pick up and press the button running around the kitchen, THIS fly zapper can stand stationary plugged in attracting flies all on its own. Glad I spent the little bit extra money on this one instead of the junky battery operated one I’ve thrown in the trash.

Bought this a few months ago. Love the fact it’s rechargeable and it works so well! Will kill large and small insects/bugs. Bought this mostly for flies. Something oddly satisfying hearing it get zapped. My aunt routinely uses one of these in Costa Rica.

Where to start.. first thing, DO NOT BUY if you have pets, children, or bugs as large as a moth. The charging "stand" is so pathetically unstable, it will easily fall, and does fall, if you get too close or slightly bump it...IF your product actually works that is, mine does not. The fact my zapper came non functioning was a blessing since it needs that ridiculously unstable stand to charge and be used as a stand alone bug zapper. The fact it doesn't work at all wasn't enough to write this review as sometimes that can happen, but the idea that they thought for one second this flimsy and dangerous stand was a good idea is mind boggling.. I would love to say it works great as an electric fly swatter, but as I mentioned, mine does not work and couldn't hold any kind of a charge after over 12 hours of charging.. the first 6 hours of charging did nothing so I left it overnight and still no charge.. I would avoid this product.

I've seen these before, but not this safe nor this large. I bought this because we went on holiday and left some banana's in the kitchen while we were gone. A bit of advice - never do this! We have had a gnat infestation for a couple of weeks. We cleaned thoroughly, we set out apple cider vinegar w/ 3 drops of dish soap - which did kill many of them but not enough, and got rid of all the fruit in the house. Nothing was working. I got this in yesterday and it is AMAZING. Yesterday I disseminated the gnats in the house. This morning I went through and there were so few and I was able to go through and destroy them. I anticipate taking the rest out tonight/tomorrow.

There are a lot of these on the market, my brother told me they were inspired by ours but bought one that couldn’t zap a single mosquito. I wish I had gotten the double pack it works that well, but I wanted to test it first. Exceeds expectations and also zaps noseeums. Clear your tent of any rogue mosquitoes that found there way in, or get some peace in an area that only has a few buggers around. On a job site in an area normally loaded with mosquitoes, I would spend ten minutes zapping, then enjoy a couple hours of peace before more moved in, very worth it.

Excellent bug zapper. Attracts and kills many flying insects including some so small you can barely see them. Works best in a dark area, but this thing even attracts flying insects that are currently flying around white light sources. Used it in our travel trailer and within 20 minutes, every flying insect that had made it inside was dead.If there is anything negative about this unit, the charging base is very small and lightweight, so when it’s being used; especially outside, it can fall over easily. The second thing; that my wife complains about, is how loudly it snaps when it zaps an insect. I just tell her that’s proof it’s doing a good job. (It snaps a lot)
