Got it for a Shimano beastmaster 9000A. I’m not counting on this to last with exposure to salt water so will be using this for spooling reels and may test it out on a nice/calm day. Biggest limitation is the cost of cordless tool batteries as it’s cheaper to buy a LiPO4 battery with a significantly higher capacity. Will keep this as backup but at least it functions as designed.

So far, this adapter is working very well on my real. It hooked up to the connection as it should, holds fast, and the real functions properly.

The only thing I know about fishing is that I need to preheat my oven to 400 for that delicious slab of Costco salmon. Oh, and the "baby shark" song. So, whatever this thing is intended for, is lost on me. But what I do know is that this takes my m18 batteries, and sends the go-go juice down a wire onto which I can attach any connector I please. And that is a huge plus in my little workshop.
