Installed on my 28 year old GM restoration project I wasn't sure they would fit, but they did! Just wish I had looked for black instead of red.

Perfect fit for my 1998 S10 ZR2. I like the added red to the components also. Looks nice and functions well.

(These went on a Non-PreRunner 2wd Tacoma. Check Energy Suspension main site to confirm the part number needed for your application.)I did a front suspension rebuild on my truck and the tie rods didn't seem too bad and boots weren't torn, but I knew once I started separating everything with pickle forks I'd ruin the rubber boots on the outer tie rods, so I went on ES's main website to confirm correct part number and Amazon was the cheapest and fastest (not a huge surprise). It's only been a couple weeks, but I did immediately drive nearly 1,000 miles in 3 days after install and they're doing fine.Install wise, I wiped down the outer tie rod with some brake clean to get a clean surface (before removing rubber boot!), since these slide over the edge, past where the original rubber boot stops. After removing the now-mangled rubber boot (grab the metal retaining ring with side cutters or needle nose pliers to remove easily) I dabbed a little fresh grease around the ball and slid the ES poly cover on. It fits snug on the outer rim and actually didn't sit perfectly even, from hitting the rod portion, but I think it'll be just fine. And where else are you gonna find a solution for $8?

This is the best boot I have purchased. The previous ones made of rubber alloy. They were good, but in just a few months in the middle of the high temperatures we have in Arizona, they started to crack. I believe that polyurethane is much more resistant. Its design is exact for the functions that I apply it with perfect protection for the tie rod of the vehicle I am repairing. Even the exotic color highlights it in its functions. Congratulations manufacturer...!!!
